Portugal 2025
Two minutes forty-two of what the hustle is for: friends who take care of each other, salt air, and a trip you earn by doing the work.

For seasoned hotel group sales executives
Ready to run your own business. You sell HPN’s site selection to meeting planners — free to them, hotels pay — with a platform and a family of hotel sales pros behind you.
“I like to tell people we sell freedom and that's the freedom to live the way you want to live. Live where you want to live, have the money to be able to live where and how you want to live.”Bill Kilburg, CEO, HPN Global
The honest version
You hit the goal, and the goal goes up. You win the group, and then it gets displaced. You have a planner you'd walk through fire for, but the dates, the space, or the rate at your property just don't work.
At HPN you keep the relationships and lose the ceiling of a single property. Change is our friend here: you leave the property book behind for a bigger one, anywhere your clients need to go. Your calendar bends around the people you love, and you run your own business with people behind you who've sat in your seat.
“I always had an itch to do more.”
Bryan Bruce, HPN associate, formerly Hyatt, Marriott & Starwood

How it works
That's the part great sales executives love. Life is all about relationships here: associates take care of their friends, planners get someone who does what they say they're going to do, and hotels get a partner they can count on. We take as much of the rest off your plate as we can.
Meeting planners and organizations that hold meetings and events become your clients. HPN's service is free to them because hotels pay the commission.
Send the RFP through HPN's own sourcing system to the hotels that fit. Our sourcing team follows up so hotel responses typically come back within 72 hours.
You know contracts, concessions, and rooms-to-space ratios. Use your hotel relationships to get your client the right deal, then do it again next year.
“...let them go do what great sales executives love to do. And that's find clients, build relationships and close deals.”

The money
“The scariest part is you drop that corporate safety net, but you know there's risk reward.”
Adam Crow, HPN associate, formerly Loews Hotels & Hyatt
Hotels pay HPN a commission on the business you book. You're 100% commission, and you structure your split with HPN based on your experience and the size of your business. You're an independent contractor, not on a payroll. Income builds as your contracts actualize. Most people don't earn on day one — and how long the ramp takes depends on how deep your hotel sales experience already is.
Proof
President's Club
Top producers don't get another banquet stage. They get Portugal: laughing on catamarans, vintage cars through the countryside, long dinners under the lights. Have fun. Be grateful you're there. Be passionate about the year that got you there.

The lifestyle we sell
Be nice to people. Let go of negativity. Stay kind and compassionate on the hard days. The trip is the proof that the grind was worth it.

Rome to the Amalfi Coast. The year before Portugal, same spirit: relationships, adventure, and a family that shows up.
Family first
Every company says it. Ask anyone here whether HPN actually lives it. Calendars bend around kids' games and the people you love. When someone needs time, they take it. That's family first, practiced, not preached.
“The whole thing of Family First, it's why I joined, but also now that I'm in a year and a half, it's as real as they say it is.”
Jenny Jenkins, HPN associate, 16 years in hotels
“And sadly, I hate saying this, but in other lives and other jobs, it's preached, but it's not practiced.”
Brien Arone, HPN associate, 20 years in hotels

Bill Kilburg on the people HPN attracts.
The ones who thrive bring passion and enthusiasm, stay curious enough to be a kid about the next deal, and still do what they say they're going to do when a planner or a hotel is counting on them.
